Founder of College Planning Associates

Jon A. Law is a seasoned executive with over 40 years of experience in financial services and consulting.

College Planning Associates was started by Jon Law to help parents navigate one of the largest expenses they'll have over the course of their lifetime. He brings a lifetime of experience in the financial world that helps students and their parents make the right choice when it came to choosing colleges. Over the years he has helped hundreds of students across Central New York get more financial assistance and reduce their college debt. His greatest successes include a Syracuse student who was going to settle for a state college, but after meeting with Jon, he found out he could afford MIT.  That is the kind of success Jon wants to bring to your family.

In addition to his executive career, Jon continues to serve on several boards of directors as well as consulting with many area company owners. Over the last twenty years, Jon has established himself as a thought leader in the field of executive and financial expertise for personal and business owner clients. He is a frequent guest speaker at lectures and has taught many seminars for parents seeking college planning advice.

Jon currently holds the following professional designations, CFP (Certified Financial Planner), ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant), CFF (Certified Financial Fiduciary), CCFS(Certified College Funding specialist), CCFC (Certified College Financial Consultant), CDS (College Debt Specialist), PFCS (Pay For College Specialist (Heartland)) & AICCFC (American Institute Certified College Financial Consultant).
